The Story So Far...
Conceived in a seedy east end pub, Dim Sum was born at The Horse and Groom Shoreditch, becoming the first Friday residency at the then newly managed venue. The nights quickly gained momentum, becoming known for their friendly atmosphere and house party vibe. Not to be pigeonholed, the lads behind the brand were keen to bring in crews and guests to present nights of house, techno, breaks, drum & bass and electro.
They've come a long way since then, expanding to include new members Caninesounds, Qumulus, Hectic Disco, Langers, Decksetera and AC along with the founding three: Mids, Banksmann and Jaymin Doe.
Dim Sum are proud to have been invited to play at some of the world’s top venues including Turnmills, Brixton Academy, The Coronet Theatre, Egg, Ministry of Sound and more as well as festival appearances, and been represented in the UK, Australia, Canada and South America. The boys have supported the likes of: Pendulum, Kissy Sell Out, Sister Bliss, The Drumattic Twins, Aquasky, The Body Snatchers, Ragga Twins, Jay Cunning, Atomic Hooligan, Stereo:Type, SOTO, Backdraft, James Harcourt, Koma & Bones, Future Funk Squad, Disco of Doom and more.
